The Sage on the Mountain

The Sage on the Mountain is a mushroom supplement brand built around a distinctive illustrated identity and a more engaging take on wellness.

Coding Pixel was brought in to turn that visual direction into a fully functional WordPress and WooCommerce website that could sell products, support custom interactions, and bring the brand’s animated world to life.

The Sage on the Mountain was built around a very specific illustrated style, so a standard eCommerce layout was never going to work.

The website needed to carry that same personality through animated characters, moving illustrations, and connected visual sections, without making the shopping experience slow or difficult to use.

The challenge was to make the site feel animated and distinctive while still working properly as a WooCommerce store.

Coding Pixel designed and developed the website in WordPress and WooCommerce, with the front end built around the brand’s custom illustrations and animation style.

Lottie animations were used throughout the site to add movement without relying on heavy video files.
